We’ve harvested three zucchini so far. 3.5 oz., 3.3 oz., & 6.3 oz.. Delicious. The straightneck has started to bloom too. The tomatoes are doing well and the bell peppers are starting to grow more. I’m not sure that the peppers or the basil are getting enough sun, though.

Flowers & 1st harvest
Our tomatoes, both the Emerald Evergreen and the Thai Pink Egg tomatoes, are blooming. I’m looking forward to having fresh tomatoes from our porch garden. 1st Bloom
Our largest/oldest zucchini plant has opened it’s first flower. Several of the others should be opening soon. Hopefully this will lead to fresh zucchini before too much longer. Lost Lettuce

Turned around
Yesterday I turned around the squash Earthbox to give the smaller plants more sun. The first Napoli plant has grown so large it was shading the others too much. With it in the back the younger plants should get more sunshine. That is, if it gets sunny. We’ve had cloud cover most of the day. […]
