I took out the Emerald Evergreen tomatoes today. They had grown a lot but the tomatoes produced all got blossom end rot. Too bad. I was curious to try them. Maybe some other variety would do better. I think the containers probably needed more calcium for that variety.
The Thai Pink Egg tomatoes continue to produce well. I just harvested another bowl full and there are still a bunch more ripening out there.
In the hanging on category our bell peppers plants have bell peppers! I don’t know if they’ll manage to get big and ripen but that would be great. It’s only a few peppers but it’d still be nice. Our basil plant also continues to do well.
