I went to bed last night dreaming of snow covering the ground this morning. The forecast called for 1-4 inches. True, it was supposed to turn to rain later today and become a big slushy mess but for a few hours we’d have a nice snowy expanse.
It didn’t happen. Nothing but rain out there tonight. It never got cold enough. I’m disappointed. I was even planning to walk to work just to enjoy the snow in the brief time while it lasted (and because I don’t trust how people will drive in the snow). Maybe we’ll get some snow this winter but it doesn’t look like now. At higher elevations they probably are getting snow, but not here.
